Just wanted to let you know I am having so much fun with La Dolce Vegan. I have like 10 vegan cookbooks and usually just take them down when I need help making something or need a new idea. But my friend unexpectedly gave me LDV and I literally can’t put it down!!

I’ve made 3 recipes in 3 days which is a record for me, and I’ve marked the pages of all the recipes I want to make, and the entire book is basically marked! There are so many yummy sounding recipes! But best of all are your comments and photos. This is so much more than a cookbook – it’s fun!!

Day 52 … The weather has taken a turn and Fergus is not sure how he feels about his wet feet.

I on the other hand am excited to break in my new rubber boots …

I just read the latest Ecorazzi blog about who they think should be on Food Network and neither my name or Isa’s are on that list.

Day 51 … This is one of the first photos I took using my iphone hipstamatic app. Tom Hanks told me about the app … well … his twitter feed told me about it. :)

It’s my all time favourite photo of Fergus I’ve ever taken (so far) because it encapsulates everything about him. Joy from laying a hot belly on the grass. Joy from chasing a yellow ball. Joy of being in the moment.

Fergus is joy personified.

UGH! I’ve been chatting back and forth via e-mail with someone from The Reef. Not sure if she’s the owner or manager … anyhoo… under threat of legal action and many pushy and aggressive letters I am retracting my statement regarding Becca’s salad.

I made a mistake when I said that Becca had to pay for the salad that had a bolt in it. Becca did NOT have to pay for her “bolt salad”. I apologize for my mistake in that matter.

I, on the other hand, had to pay (with a 10% discount) for my crap-tastic hardly touched salad and my tasteless disgusting veggie barely-eaten Jamacian patty and Cody also had to pay (with a 10% discount) for his half eaten disgusting fish dish.

I also stand by the rest of my review … The Reef shit the bed that night and it wasn’t pretty.

These letters that they have been sending me further proves that they don’t know squat about customer service and thus I WILL NEVER EAT AT THE REEF AGAIN!
