Day 12 … Is there anything cuter then a white dog with black lips? I also love his little bottom teeth. They are impossibly small and quite adorable.

The back room’s drywall is all done and is being painted gray (not by me – yay!) on Sunday (same colour as the rest of the shop) and I want to wallpaper the back-wall … what’s your fav?
When Fergus gets overheated he likes to cool down by laying his hot belly flat against the floor.
In order to do that he must unhinge and flip his legs back in what looks to me like an uncomfortable position but I’m in my 40′s now and not as flexible.
I think I need to start doing yoga again …

Day 10 … Speaking of ears.
Whenever Fergus is hot (from playing, long walks, laying in the sun, etc) he somehow flips back both his ears. I’m assuming to let out any excess heat captured underneath his flippity-floppity ears.
When he does it we say “Look. Fergus turned on his ear-conditioners.”
We are nerds.

Then started checking out the Designers and now I’m obesessed with this Melie Bianco bag.

Day 9 … Fergus’ ears sometimes defy gravity.
They are flippity-floppity ears and to the untrained eye they look like they mostly hang down flopping around but his ears are probably the most expressive part of his body.
In this photo you can see that he is in the reclined position on my lap enjoying belly scratches but his ear is pointing straight up in the air listening to the noises Gerry is making in the kitchen.
I don’t know how he gets these flippity-floppity ears to stand straight up like that. There must be hidden wires …
All the drywall is done and today I spent the day mudding all the seams. Tomorrow I re-mud any bumpy spots and sand a little bit.
Room is being painted on Sunday. Then I can start adding shelves, wallpaper and flooring! Woot! :) I can’t wait to get this room looking sharp so we can start working on the bathroom … :(
I FEEL LIKE THESE RENOS ARE NEVER GOING TO END but then I remember that the bathroom is the last spot to renovate so we are ALMOST there!! :)

Day 8 … Whenever we come home from a walk I stand in my entryway taking off my shoes, jacket, put down my keys, etc and Fergus hangs out in the hallway watching.
He will stand at the front door forever unless I invite him in. Either he’s really polite or he’s a vampire.
Have you ever met a toy poodle/cross who loves to swim?? :)
Man. My jew fro is becoming epic … not sure how long I’m going to last with this “grow-out”. I’m feeling the urge to shave my head!! :)
